Your data, plainly.

Photos go to our AI partner (Google Gemini via Lovable AI Gateway) for two things: reading the room to estimate size and condition, and generating illustrative renovation renders.

• Photos are automatically deleted from Plotted's systems within 24 hours.
• We never store, sell, or share your photos with any third party (other than the AI provider needed to process them).
• Generated renders are illustrative visualisations — not a plan, not a survey, and not guaranteed to reflect any particular product.
• Don't upload photos containing other people or sensitive personal information.

Your postcode is used to pull live listings from public estate-agent sites (Rightmove, Zoopla) to indicate local property values. We store your query so we can improve the estimator, but we don't attach it to any personal profile unless you sign in.

If you create an account, we store your email, name, and any messages you send through Plotted. Messages between homeowners and builders are only visible to the two parties on that thread. Reviews are "blind" — both sides submit privately and only publish once both parties have completed the job.
